Frequently asked questions about Fold and Rolls

What is a Fold+Roll?

The Fold+Roll is a clever compact way to pack an overnight bag. It means you can roll your clothes so they don’t wrinkle, and compresses them to keep them together neatly. A full roll (about 3 litres) fits comfortably into an under seat bag for the minimalist voyager or into a backpack or cycle pannier for those who like to run or cycle to work. A couple can also be paired up for longer trips – and will still fit in the most budget airline under seat carry on bag dimensions (40 x 25 x 20cm).

Why roll your clothes to pack them?

Rolling your clothes tightly will compress them so that you can fit more into your suitcase or backpack. Rolling clothes also keeps them from wrinkling. So in summary you will be able to fit more clothes in your packing and keep them smoother if you roll them. If you use a Fold+Roll you can roll clothes together, organise your outfits and pack a whole adventure into a tiny pack.

How do I use a Fold+Roll?

The list is pretty endless. It keeps your smart stuff away from your adventure gear or your cycle to work kit separate from your presentations. It’s handy for

We recommend sticking to about 3 litres worth of clothes - a couple of t-shirts, vests, pants, socks and a night shirt. However the more you roll, the more you seem to be able to fit in. If your roll stops doing up then you need to get another…
